About Page Updated

If you’re interested, I’ve finally updated my About Page.  You can click on the tab above or HERE for it.

I welcome feedback.  If there’s a burning question that you feel I should address, drop me a line, and I’ll consider it.

I’ve learned over the years that the “About Page” is actually really important.  You wouldn’t believe the number of hits it gets.

  1. One burning question: which mysteries of the rosary do you pray on which weekdays? My husband and I have had different upbringings on this… also, then other things can throw it off, and should they?… such as 54 day novenas, Lumnious yay or nay, do you pray Glorious during Lent, etc… Thanks!

    1. Good Morning, LillianGraceB!

I’ve got to believe that in the end, Mary doesn’t mind which mysteries are prayed, so long as one has sincere intentions. That said, about a year ago, my husband switched from the modern week day rotation of, starting on Sunday–Glorious, Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, Luminous, Sorrowful, Joyful–to the older, traditional order of, starting on Monday, Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, with Sunday’s rosary corresponding to the liturgical calendar. (Joyful during Advent/Christmas, Sorrowful during Lent, and Glorious all the other Sundays.) Are you able to follow that?

If it were me, and I were in your shoes, and since one cannot really go wrong with the rosary, I’d defer to my husband and let him choose whichever mysteries he felt strongly about. Of course be sure to tell him your thoughts, but then, let him decide, as fathers really are the spiritual heads of the family. (Goodness, I’m might have some feminists get after me for that one!)
